Meet Thunder and its unique pre-gradation process

Receipt of orders
Thunder provides your cards with reinforced protection (double sleeves) as soon as the packages are opened.

Card verification
We first confirm that the cards received match your order. All steps are closely monitored, including taking pictures and protecting the cards before handling and all the way through the process!

Card conditioning
Once receipt is finalized, we prepare your cards for review. They will be authenticated and evaluated by our experts to confirm their eligibility for the Vault and the Marketplace.

Certification & Pre-Grading Thunder
Thunder certifies your cards and gives them a grade during a thorough evaluation. We write a pre-gradation certificate guaranteeing the authenticity and the evaluation of each of your cards.

Save time by buying pre-graded cards on Thunder! Authenticated, pre-graded cards are a better investment for future resale and are also a more reliable purchase to complete your collection! In addition, Thunder works with many grading partners, where our pre-graded cards are sure to get a good grade!

Re-examination
Our experts perform a second examination of your cards, which are authenticated and then evaluated a second time. This step refines the evaluation and helps to give your cards a more accurate pre-grade rating.

Thunder Certificate Completion
The Thunder Certificate is updated one last time following the counter-examination, before being finalized. Once completed, this forgery-proof document is the undeniable proof of the authenticity, quality and value of your cards.

Vault Integration
If your cards meet Thunder's eligibility criteria, they are stored in an ultra-secure Vault, covered by our insurance. This personal space allows you to centralize your entire collection, and facilitates the sale or purchase on the Marketplace, and even the grading of your cards via our many partners grading services.

Sale on the Marketplace
Find all your cards directly in your Vault, waiting for you to authorize their sale! You can monitor their status in real time and intervene in a sale in progress at any time. In addition to enhanced protection and maximum coverage through our insurance, we provide professional card tracking, including photographing your cards during the previous stages, to ensure careful handling throughout the process.

A level of security in line with your cards

The Vault and Thunder's services provide a maximum security environment, including specific insurance to further protect your cards. Thunder's insurance covers loss, theft, damage, and any damage that may occur while handling your cards or storing them in your Vault.
